Hello everyone, it has been a while since I have written a post. Life has been busy and I have been experimenting. In my January post titled, Could a low carb diet be sabotaging your weight loss? I shared information about how some experts believe that a very low carb diet is not always the best solution for some people, especially women. It can mess with our hormones and create a stress response in the body, which leads to excess cortisol and weight gain or weight loss resistance. I thought you might be interested in my experience over the past few months of trying a slightly higher carb intake. I want to clarify that I am still following a low carb diet but not a very low carb ketogenic one.
