The Real Meal Revolution cookbook is a ‘must have’
The Real Meal Revolution cookbook is finally here …… and it was worth the wait. A team effort between Prof. Tim Noakes, Sally-Ann Creed, Jonno Proudfoot and David Grier has produced the most stunning book of mouth-watering recipes, beautiful food photography and eye-opening information on the low carb/high fat lifestyle. The book’s tagline? “Changing the world. One meal at a time. “
I received my own copy this week and have been salivating over the recipes. This almost 300 page book is so much more than just a cook book. It provides solid reasons why good quantities of natural fat is healthy for you and why carbs will never help you achieve your weight loss goals.
This book is truly myth-busting. We no longer need to believe the lies we have been fed. For the last few decades we have been advised to cut the fat and include more healthy whole grains into our diet.
Lies, lies, lies. Well I say, no more!
Let’s “start a revolution” and claim back our health and our waistlines. Let’s fight for our right to enjoy tasty, satiating and nourishing food. Let’s make a commitment to never feel hungry or deprived while trying to lose weight – ever again!
This book is highly inspirational. The delectable recipes show you just how easy it is to prepare meals that your family and friends will absolutely love. No guilt. No pretences. Just real food.
This book is honestly for everyone. Whether you are fat or thin, suffer from digestive issues, allergies, PCOS or diabetes. You can be a hard-core athlete or highly skilled in couch potato’ing. It’s a healthy eating plan for everyone.
Some of the foundational principles of the programme:
- limit carbs,
- avoid sugar,
- stay away from toxic seed/vegetable oils,
- don’t go near processed foods (packaged, boxed, fast food etc),
- eliminate all grains (wheat, oats, rye, corn etc) and
- say no to soya
Here is an excerpt from the book which I just love,
“right now you are a fat grub wriggling on a dungheap of carbs, but about to go through an incredible metamorphosis……..to becoming a beautiful butterfly.”
So, join the revolution and fight back against obesity, fatigue and ill-health. Go out and buy a copy of the book for yourself and then get another one for a family member or friend for Christmas.
What an amazing gift. Life-changing I would say.

Hi Jean, I got mine direct from Sally-Ann’s office in Constantia. It should be available from Kalahari. I think my friend got her copy from them. I also think Exclusive Books is supposed to be stocking it too. I think best is to phone around to find a copy. Good luck.
